The Mountain Prince Lodge is located in the village of Sarangkot just outside the Pokhara City fringe in the central western region of Nepal.

It is located just outside the restricted area of the Annapurna Conservation park. No permit is required.

At 1592 meters above sea level Sarangkot village allows you direct majestic views of the Annapurna Range, many of the highest mountains on earth with 6 peaks between 6986 and 7997 M. You will have clear access to the surrounding Himalayan wilderness areas.

Sarangkot’s altitude is sufficient for views taking in Pokhara city, the greater Pokhara Valley and beyond to the main Mt. Annapurna I 8091, Annapurna II 7937, Annapurna III 7555, Annapurna IV 7525, Annapurna South 7195, and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167M), Machhaputchure 6997, Lamjung Himal 6986 M. Pokhara Valley lies beneath and alongside the Annapurna Range.

Nestled 708 meters below Sarangkot in the Pokhara Valley is Pokhara city (Mahendrapool) and Pokhara Lakeside (Phewa Tal). Beyond Lake Side is Dam Side, at the flowing down stream end of the lake. These three areas make up the Pokhara metropolis. Lakeside and Dam Side join to form one of Nepal's most popular short to long stay tourist destinations. It is a charming city to live in. It is probably the economically richest area of Nepal. It is also home to a predominant Ghurkha population

Being a valley Pokhara is at a lower altitude than its surrounds and it is flat. In geo economic term it is the most successful region in Nepal.

Sarangkot is located 1000M up on the highest point of the Pokhara valley rim and overlooks this entire region.

Being on the spine of the Pokhara Valley rim Sarangkot also provides views of the hilly region all the way to India and is the fastest path into ABC (Annapurna Base Camp)

The transition in culture from city to Himalaya will begin as you leave the floor of the Pokhara valley. Weather, people, buildings, food and the terrain change.

The journey from Pokhara up to Sarangkot is 7-Kilometers by road, or slightly shorter by trekking pathway.
